New Important information

Starting with 1st January 2025 Romania is part of  Schenghen therefore participants who need a visa to enter Romania are asked to check the list of Schengen countries represented in your country and apply for Romanian visa there. Those who already posses a Schengen Visa are requested to check the number of days available, depending on the number of days already spent in Schenghen Countries in the last 6 months  (one person with Schenghen visa can spend a total 90 days in Schenghen Countries).  Check here to see whether you need a visa to enter Romania,  https://www.mae.ro/en/node/2040

Important information

All participants, must take into consideration medical requirements or the recommended ones for Romania (eg. vaccines, medical treatment, medical insurance) as USAMV Cluj-Napoca does not offer these services. 

Learning agreement

We highly encourage to use OLA (Online Learning Agreement) For the partner universities who don`t use OLA or other online system yet, we accept Learning agreement on paper also.

The final learning agreement (signed by all three parts will be uploaded in our platform, in your account).

If you use paper based learning agreement, please make sure you upload the learning agreement signed by you and your university representative.

Transcript of records

It will be uploaded into your account on our platform in maximum 5 weeks after your mobility is finished together with the Certificate of Attendance.

Language requirements for student mobility exchange under Erasmus+

The teaching language in the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj -Napoca (USAMV CN)  is mainly Romanian, but also English and French.

Info on language requirements

Erasmus+ exchange students do not have to take an English language entrance test at USAMV CN. However, they must be fluent in spoken and written English or French, depending on the language the study program is taught. If English/French is not your native language, you must show evidence of your fluency in English/French in your application. For this, you will need to include one of the following:

– a qualification of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – at a Minimum level of B1,

– a University entrance examination, or an internal examination taken at your Home University (with an explanation of the level of the examination)

or 

– ask your Home University to test your English or French and write a letter certifying your standard in relation to the above.

Our university is entitled to request the applicant an online interview.
